ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Heather

WHERE I COME FROM

My name is Heather Galvin. Growing up on a farm, I learned from an early age there is value in hard-work and service. My passion is helping people, and I am proud to do that every day while serving as Beaufort County's Associate Probate Judge.  When the Honorable Kenneth E. Fulp, Jr., the current Beaufort County Probate Judge, announced his retirement at the end of this year, I knew the highest honor and best use of my time is to seek to serve our community as Beaufort County's next Probate Judge.

After attending law school, I had the opportunity to work in the private and public sectors.  Whether working at a Fortune 500 company or representing Guardian ad Litem’s in abuse and neglect cases involving children, my passion for knowledge as well as my love for others has prepared me well for a life of public service. Integrity, Honesty, Compassion. These are the tenets by which I live my life, and I apply them daily while proudly serving the people of Beaufort County.

I am a proud resident of Bluffton, South Carolina where I live with my husband and our four cats.  In my spare time, I enjoy running, swimming, tennis, Pilates, and co-facilitating a women’s Bible study.
